Royal Aide’s Social Media Cleanse Fuels Speculation

Natasha Archer, Princess Kate’s longtime personal assistant, has sparked a flurry of online speculation after a noticeable social media purge seemingly targeting connections to Meghan Markle. Archer recently transitioned to a public Instagram profile for her new luxury consultancy, and eagle-eyed royal watchers were quick to observe some telling unfollows.

Among those no longer followed by Archer are Meghan Markle herself, the Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, and several individuals known to be close to the Duchess. This includes Daniel Martin, Delfina Blaquier, and Heather Dorak. Even Meghan’s hair colorist, Kadi Lee, and fashion blogs focused on the Duchess’s style appear to have been removed from Archer’s following list.

Interestingly, Archer continues to follow the official royal family accounts, including those of the Prince and Princess of Wales, King Charles, and Queen Camilla. She also remains connected with Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, on the platform.

Archer’s departure from Kensington Palace after 15 years of service was announced earlier this month. She held various roles, including personal assistant and unofficial stylist to Princess Kate, and was even awarded the Royal Victorian Order in 2019 for her service to the royal household. Archer is now embarking on a new venture with her own private consultancy.
