Get Ready to Meet the In-Laws (Again!): ‘Focker In-Law’ Coming Thanksgiving 2026
Dust off your cringe-worthy holiday sweaters and prepare for more awkward family gatherings, because the Fockers are back! Universal Pictures announced Monday that the fourth installment of the beloved “Meet the Parents” franchise, officially titled “Focker In-Law,” will hit theaters Thanksgiving 2026.
Returning for another round of family mayhem are Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, and Owen Wilson, reprising their iconic roles. Adding a fresh face to the festivities is none other than pop superstar Ariana Grande, though details about her character remain under wraps. “Booksmart” star Beanie Feldstein will also join the cast.
The original “Meet the Parents” premiered in 2000, introducing audiences to the hilariously awkward dynamic between Greg Focker (Stiller) and his intimidating father-in-law, Jack Byrnes (De Niro). The subsequent sequels, “Meet the Fockers” (2004) and “Little Fockers” (2010), further explored the comedic chaos of their ever-expanding family.
While plot details for “Focker In-Law” are still scarce, director John Hamburg (producer of “Little Fockers”) is at the helm. At a 25th-anniversary screening of “Meet the Parents” at the Tribeca Film Festival this past June, Stiller hinted that the new film might mirror the original, with one of his kids introducing a significant other to the family.
De Niro confirmed he’d read the script and called it “really fun.” Sounds like we’re in for another uproarious holiday treat!
