Hogan’s Will Leaves Daughter Out, Wife In

Additional Coverage:

Brooke Hogan, daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, will inherit no portion of his estimated $25 million estate. The 37-year-old proactively removed herself as a beneficiary in 2023, a decision stemming from concerns about her father’s inner circle and a desire to “protect her heart” from potential financial battles.

Hogan passed away last week at age 71 from cardiac arrest. While his will is now the focus of much speculation, it’s confirmed that Brooke, married to former NHL player Steven Oleksy, will not receive any of the wrestler’s fortune, which includes trademarks, intellectual property, and other assets.

According to reports, Brooke was worried about individuals she believed were exploiting her father. After unsuccessful attempts to discuss these concerns with him, she requested to be removed from his will.

This sadly proved to be their last conversation. Despite this, she remains a beneficiary of a smaller life insurance trust, funds she reportedly plans to use for her children’s college expenses.

Brooke welcomed twins earlier this year, but Hogan never met his grandchildren. Despite her husband’s attempts to reconcile the father and daughter, they remained estranged.

Hogan’s third wife, Sky Daily, whom he married in 2023 shortly after his final conversation with Brooke, is expected to inherit a substantial portion of the estate. Experts suggest she could receive up to 30 percent under Florida law, even if the will doesn’t specifically allocate that amount. However, potential complications could arise if Hogan’s trusts aren’t fully updated, potentially leading to legal disputes.
