McCartney’s Ex Takes Off Leg on Train

Additional Coverage:

Heather Mills, Paul McCartney’s ex-wife, recently addressed a fellow train passenger who questioned her about extending her leg during a journey. Mills, an amputee since a 1993 motorcycle accident, has become a prominent advocate for amputee rights and prosthetic technology.

She recounted the incident on Instagram, explaining the need to stretch out her prosthetic leg to prevent it from digging into the back of her remaining limb. She stated that the man complaining hadn’t realized her leg was prosthetic and stopped complaining after she removed it.

Mills, 57, further detailed the uncomfortable encounter on the South Western Railway train in a video message, expressing her frustration. The incident highlights the ongoing need for greater understanding and awareness surrounding the challenges faced by amputees.

Since her high-profile divorce from McCartney in 2008, Mills has focused on business ventures and advocacy work. She is a vegan and runs VBites, a vegan food company.

She is also a patron of Viva! and Viva!

Health and vice president of the Limbless Association. Mills has been in a relationship with film producer Mike Dickman since 2019.

McCartney remarried in 2011 to Nancy Shevell.
