Family Feud Fun: Contestant Echoes Teammate’s Answer, Hilarious Confusion Ensues
Steve Harvey, host of “Family Feud,” is no stranger to bizarre answers and contestant blunders, but a recent episode delivered a particularly funny moment of accidental repetition. When asked to “Name something that’s spiky,” contestant Baylee from the Shukwit family buzzed in first with “The little gumballs that fall off the trees,” earning her team the first point with “Cactus/Plant.”
The Brooks family then stepped up, offering answers like “needle” and missing the mark. The Shukwits continued, with Faith guessing “ball” and KC humorously suggesting “my drink,” referring to a spiked beverage. Neither answer hit the board.
With the Shukwits down to their last guess, Adam saved the day with “Porcupine.” Then came Michelle.
After a moment of contemplation, she confidently answered, “A drink.” KC, just a few feet away, had offered the same answer moments before.
Harvey, sensing comedic gold, pounced. “Girl, where’d you get that answer from?”
he asked with a grin. Michelle, completely unaware of the repetition, responded, “Way in the back.”
Harvey, realizing she was clueless, gestured towards KC, saying, “Way back there.” It took a moment, but finally, the lightbulb went on for Michelle.
“Oh, he said that? He said ‘Drink’?
Oh no!” she exclaimed.
Harvey, ever the gracious host, gave Michelle another chance. This time, she landed on “Hairy legs,” close enough to the actual answer “Hair/Mohawk” to earn her team another point.
Despite Michelle’s redeemed answer and the laughs it provided, the Shukwits couldn’t secure enough points to win the round outright. However, the Brooks family also failed to steal, resulting in a Shukwit victory.
