- ‘Family Feud’ host Steve Harvey loses his mind after hearing wild answers on sports team (marketrealist.com)
Steve Harvey’s signature sass and exasperated reactions on “Family Feud” are legendary. He’s heard it all, but sometimes, the contestants still manage to push him to the brink. A recent episode featuring a bird-brained sports team question did just that.
Harvey posed the seemingly simple question: “Name a bird that’s also the name of a sports team.” One team, however, seemed to think any flying object qualified.
“Hawks” was a solid start, but “rays”? Harvey’s confusion was palpable.
“What are you clapping for?” he quipped, gesturing to the blank scoreboard.
The chaos continued. “Eagles” finally made an appearance, but then came “Let’s go watch a Falcon.”
Technically correct, but Harvey’s eye roll was epic. “Jets” followed, prompting a defeated Harvey to lament, “You’re just naming something that flies.”
Even a Harry Potter-inspired “Ravenclaw” made its way into the mix. Thankfully, “Seahawks” and “Cardinals” brought some sanity back to the game.
However, “parakeets” sealed the team’s fate, with Harvey hilariously mimicking the imaginary “Pittsburgh Parakeets” in action.
With the first team flailing, the opposing family had a chance to steal. Amidst a flurry of shouted answers, they landed on “Ravens,” snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
A visibly weary Harvey, left with only “Orioles” remaining on the board, could only shake his head. Another day, another hilarious “Family Feud” fail.
