Austin, Texas – A shooting outside a Target store on Research Boulevard has left three people dead. Police have a 32-year-old male suspect in custody.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, they found three individuals with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was the owner of a vehicle the suspect carjacked in the Target parking lot.
The suspect fled the scene in the stolen car and later crashed it before stealing another vehicle from a dealership. He was eventually apprehended in the southern part of the city after abandoning the second stolen car.
