Cracker Barrel Changes Up Menu and Look

Cracker Barrel Unveils “All the More” Campaign Amidst Mixed Reactions

Cracker Barrel is undergoing a significant brand refresh, sparking both excitement and controversy among its loyal customer base. The revamp includes a modernized logo, redesigned restaurant interiors, and a new fall menu. While the company insists its core values remain unchanged, some patrons feel the changes stray too far from the familiar Cracker Barrel charm.

The most visible change is the new logo, which simplifies the design to text only, removing the iconic barrel image. This decision has drawn criticism from some customers, including notable figures like Donald Trump Jr., who see it as a departure from the brand’s heritage. This marks the fifth iteration of the Cracker Barrel logo, and interestingly, the company’s press materials still reference the iconic barrel shape.

Despite the backlash, Cracker Barrel is forging ahead with its “All the More” campaign, emphasizing fresh energy and modern touches while honoring its legacy. The campaign includes a partnership with country music star Jordan Davis, culminating in a special event in New York City called “A Taste of Country, Anytime” on August 21st. The event promises entertainment, classic Cracker Barrel rocking chairs, and of course, delicious food.

Perhaps the most anticipated element of the “All the More” campaign is the new fall menu. Featuring both returning favorites and exciting new dishes, the menu offers a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Breakfast highlights include the returning Uncle Herschel’s Favorite, and new additions like the Sausage & Egg Hashbrown Casserole and Butter Pecan French Toast Bake. For lunch and dinner, patrons can enjoy the Herb Roasted Chicken, Hashbrown Casserole Shepherd’s Pie, or Slow-Braised Pot Roast.

New desserts include Butter Pecan Sticky Buns and a Cinnamon Roll Skillet. Seasonal beverages include a Brown Sugar Latte and Wild Berry Tea.

As a special promotion, customers can enjoy a complimentary Classic Side with any purchase on August 23rd and 24th. Whether these changes will ultimately resonate with Cracker Barrel’s loyal customers remains to be seen.
