Viewers Criticize Fox & Friends for ‘Softball’ Interview with RFK Jr.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s recent Fox & Friends appearance sparked controversy, with some viewers accusing the hosts of going too easy on the Democratic presidential candidate.

The August 28th interview covered several topics, including the recent Minneapolis shooting, chronic disease, and rising autism rates. However, some felt the questions lacked depth.

On X (formerly Twitter), viewers voiced their concerns. One user criticized the interview as featuring “lap dog questions,” suggesting Fox News operates as a “propaganda machine.” Another accused the network of bowing to pressure from pharmaceutical and food industry sponsors.

Much of the criticism centered on Kennedy’s comments regarding the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Kennedy criticized the CDC’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and questioned the agency’s priorities, citing its listing of abortion, fluoridation, and vaccines among the top ten advancements in medical science. These remarks drew strong reactions online, with some users calling Kennedy “dangerous” and an “idiot,” while others called for his resignation from the presidential race.
