Chandler Mom Influencer Breaks Silence After Son’s Drowning
Emilie Kiser, a prominent TikTok personality with over 4 million followers, has spoken publicly for the first time since the tragic drowning of her 3-year-old son, Trigg, in May. In an emotional statement shared on social media, Kiser described her grief as “impossible to put into words.”
Trigg’s death occurred on May 18th, six days after he was pulled from the family’s pool. According to police, surveillance video confirmed that Trigg tripped on an inflatable chair and fell into the pool while his father, Brady Kiser, was caring for him and the couple’s newborn.
Brady told authorities he was briefly distracted by the baby inside the house when the accident happened. First responders performed CPR at the scene and rushed Trigg to the hospital, where he was placed on life support.
In her statement, Emilie Kiser accepted accountability for the tragedy and expressed deep regret, emphasizing the importance of pool safety. “One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it is something I will never overlook again,” she wrote.
Kiser also indicated she would be establishing stricter boundaries regarding her online presence to protect her family’s privacy. She expressed gratitude for the support she received from family and followers, acknowledging the outpouring of love during this difficult time.
While the Chandler Police Department recommended child abuse charges against Brady Kiser, prosecutors declined to pursue the case, citing insufficient evidence. Emilie Kiser has filed a lawsuit to prevent the release of investigative records related to Trigg’s death.
This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of child drowning, a leading cause of accidental death for children under five in Arizona.
