Costco Continues Expansion with Four New Locations This October
October is shaping up to be a busy month for Costco, with the warehouse giant planning to open four new locations. This continues Costco’s aggressive expansion strategy, aiming for 25-30 new warehouses annually, roughly half of which are in the United States.
The new locations opening this month include:
- Fruitport, Michigan
- Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania
- Indian Land, South Carolina
- Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
This expansion follows a busy year for the retailer, with new warehouses already opened across the US in Washington, Texas, Florida, and Nevada, as well as internationally in Canada and Mexico.
In addition to new locations, Costco has also implemented changes to enhance the shopping experience. These include extended Saturday hours (now closing at 7 p.m.) and earlier weekday opening times for Executive Members.
