Kate Middleton’s Blonde Moment: A Royal Hair-volution?

It seems Princess Kate’s brief foray into the world of blonde locks is over. The Princess of Wales was seen sporting her signature brunette shade during a recent visit to Sunningdale to commemorate the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing. This comes after weeks of speculation and commentary surrounding Kate’s lighter, honey-toned hair, which she debuted in late August.

The Princess’s new ‘do certainly sparked conversation. While some questioned the change, others, including Good Morning Britain‘s Susanna Reid, came to Kate’s defense.

Reid praised the Princess’s “distinctive look,” pointing out that Kate’s hair remained “very, very long and thick.” Reid even confessed to trying a similar bronde style herself, attributing it to wanting a “softer” look as she gets older.

Fellow TV personality Lorraine Kelly also chimed in, dismissing criticism and praising Kate’s appearance.

Interestingly, Reid recounted a conversation with none other than Cher, who apparently encouraged her to grow out her hair after a bob experiment. Reid, inspired by the music icon, now uses hair pieces for added volume.

While Kate’s blonde moment may be over for now, it certainly generated buzz. Even Princess Diana’s former hairstylist, Sam McKnight, and former royal butler Grant Harrold spoke out in support of Kate’s hair choices.

Harrold praised Kate’s efforts to “feel good” and “look beautiful,” especially after her recent health challenges. It seems that even royalty isn’t immune to a little hair experimentation!
