Hollywood Hills Home Raided in Connection with Teen’s Death, Singer Vacates Property
Los Angeles, CA—A Hollywood Hills residence recently became the focus of a police investigation after the body of a missing teenager was discovered in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The 15-year-old, Celeste Rivas, had been reported missing from Lake Elsinore, CA, earlier this year.
Law enforcement officials executed a search warrant on the property on September 17, removing several items, including a laptop. While no charges have been filed, police confirmed the raid is connected to the investigation into Rivas’s death.
The property owner, Mladen Trifunovic, revealed that the $20,000-a-month lease was held by D4vd’s manager, Josh Marshall, who signed the lease in February 2024—the same month Rivas was initially reported missing. Following the police raid, Trifunovic stated that Marshall abruptly terminated the lease and began moving out. He expressed shock at the situation, stating he was unaware Burke resided at the property until informed of the raid by his property manager.
Trifunovic shared that Marshall seemed equally surprised by the investigation. He hopes the investigation will shed light on the circumstances surrounding Rivas’s disappearance and death, questioning how such a tragedy could occur. He expressed confidence in the neighborhood’s security measures and the availability of surveillance footage to aid the investigation.
D4vd has cancelled the remainder of his US tour dates in light of these events. The investigation remains ongoing.
