Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant Debunk Marriage Rumors Amid Viral AI Photos

Recent viral images depicting actor Keanu Reeves and artist Alexandra Grant in wedding attire, complete with matching rings, sparked a flurry of online speculation about their marital status. However, representatives for “The Matrix” star have confirmed that the long-term couple has not tied the knot, despite the widespread rumors fueled by AI-generated photos and an earlier “exclusive” report.

The digitally fabricated “wedding” snaps circulated widely across social media, leading many to believe Reeves, 61, and Grant, 52, had exchanged vows. These images further amplified marriage rumors that first gained traction last week following a report which cited unnamed “insiders” claiming the couple had married in Europe over the summer.

A representative for the “John Wick” actor swiftly dispelled the speculation this week, stating unequivocally, “It is not true. They are not married.”

Adding to the clarification, Grant herself took to Instagram to address the swirling rumors. On Wednesday, she shared a genuine photograph of herself and Reeves sharing a kiss at artist James Turrell’s Roden Crater.

Her caption explicitly stated, “This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… simply a kiss!”

She explained she shared the tender moment to thank fans for their well wishes, clarifying, “Except we didn’t get married,” and concluded with a warning: “Good news is much needed these days, but it’s still fake news, so be careful out there!”

While the couple largely keeps their private life out of the spotlight, Grant has previously described their relationship as “inspiring,” noting its positive impact on her artistic endeavors. In 2023, she recounted a studio visit where a respected figure observed, “I can see that your work has gotten happier.”

Just this month, Grant publicly praised Reeves’ “hard work and dedication to trying something new and brave” for his Broadway debut in “Waiting for Godot.” He stars alongside his friend and “Bill & Ted” franchise co-star Alex Winter in Tony-winning director Jamie Lloyd’s production.

Grant lauded Reeves’ portrayal of Estragon on Instagram, writing, “Your Estragon is funny, lonely, pensive, philosophical and shares your ability to sleep anywhere, at any time. So honored to go on this creative journey with you!”

This highlights their continued supportive partnership, even as they remain unmarried.
