Victoria Beckham’s Quarter-Century Meal Plan: Posh Spice Keeps It Consistent
Victoria Beckham, the fashion icon and former pop star, has revealed a remarkable consistency in her daily routine: she’s been eating the same meal for over a quarter of a century. While her husband, soccer legend David Beckham, is famously passionate about diverse culinary experiences, Victoria prefers a simpler, disciplined approach to her diet.
David Beckham recently offered a glimpse into his wife’s unwavering eating habits during an appearance on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast. “I get quite emotional about food and wine.
When I’m eating something great I want everyone to try it,” he shared. “Unfortunately I’m married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years.
Ever since I met her, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables. She will very rarely deviate from that.”
He even recalled a solitary instance during their marriage when Victoria shared a meal with him, an event he described as “the most amazing thing.”
Despite previously claiming to be “flexible” with her food choices and enjoying dining out, Victoria has now elaborated on her strict dietary regimen. Her daily meals primarily consist of “lots of fresh fish, fresh vegetables and salads, as well as seeds and nuts.”
She limits fruit intake due to concerns about bloating and allows herself “a few glasses of red wine” and tequila as treats. Her diet also incorporates healthy fats like avocados and salmon.
For the busy mother of four and successful businesswoman, this disciplined approach “works for me so I can give 100 per cent.”
The former Spice Girl, who gave up meat at eight years old, attributes her meticulous diet largely to her desire for a clear complexion. In an interview with The Telegraph, she shared her secret to glowing skin, which includes avoiding certain types of wheat and flour in favor of cassava flour.
Beyond her plate, Victoria also incorporates a high-tech Dermalux LED device into her morning routine. She confessed that past skin issues made her feel self-conscious during her pop star days, stating, “It was because of my skin that I became very careful about what I ate.”
Beyond her personal diet, Victoria has also been an advocate for a healthier, more inclusive body image. She garnered praise for declaring the desire to be “really thin” as an “outdated” and “old-fashioned” attitude.
During the 2022 launch of her VB Body shapewear collection, she expressed, “I think women today want to look healthy, and curvy. They want to have some boobs – and a bum.”
