NASHVILLE, TN – Country music legend Vince Gill, 68, has inked an unprecedented lifetime recording contract with MCA Records, a landmark agreement announced today that solidifies a partnership spanning more than three decades. This history-making deal ensures that Gill, one of the genre’s most revered voices and prolific songwriters, will continue to release new music under the label for the duration of his illustrious career.

As part of this significant new chapter, Gill is set to launch an ambitious project titled 50 Years From Home. This innovative EP series will see the artist release a new collection of songs every month for the next year. The first EP in the series, 50 Years From Home: I Gave You Everything I Had, is scheduled for release on October 17, 2025. It will feature the newly double Platinum-certified classic, “Go Rest High on That Mountain.”
