Steve Harvey Prays for Board Spot, Crowned “Stud” on Family Feud
In a moment that had “Family Feud” host Steve Harvey bending over in prayer, the usually unflappable comedian found himself hoping against hope for a very specific outcome: to see his own name on the survey board. While Harvey often expresses mock offense at questions or answers pertaining to him, this time, the stakes were delightfully personal.
The question posed to contestants was, “Name a comedian who isn’t just funny, he’s also a stud.” As soon as contestant Paternia buzzed in with a confident “Steve Harvey,” the host immediately clasped his hands and bowed his head over the podium.
“Okay, please Lord,” he implored, “Just anywhere on the board. If I ain’t in the top six, I’m gonna be so hurt.”
To his immense joy and dramatic relief, the board revealed that “Steve Harvey” wasn’t just on the list-it was the number one answer! Harvey, initially unable to even look, eventually turned, throwing his arms up in a triumphant celebration that propelled the Winchester family forward in the game.
The comedic journey continued with other contestants offering their picks. Sherman successfully named “Kevin Hart,” which appeared on the board.
However, Aaleyah’s guess of “Ced the Entertainer” was not among the surveyed answers, marking the first strike. Valerie then offered “Eddie Murphy,” also missing the mark for the second strike.
An older contestant, also named Sherman, then admitted he wasn’t entirely sure what “stud” meant. Ever the showman, Harvey walked to center stage, gesturing to himself as the living definition of the word before offering a helpful explanation. Armed with new understanding, Sherman then guessed “DL Hughley,” but unfortunately, that answer also failed to appear, resulting in a third strike and turning the game over to the Maher family for a steal.
Katie from the Maher family stepped up, confidently stating, “We’re gonna go with Jimmy Fallon.” Her answer hit the board, securing the win for her family!
The remaining comedians who were deemed “studs” by the survey included Dane Cook, Jamie Foxx, and Jerry Seinfeld. It was certainly a memorable episode for both the contestants and the praying host himself.
