“KPop Demon Hunters” Mania Continues: Netflix Taps Toy Giants for Merchandise
Looks like the “KPop Demon Hunters” craze is here to stay, and fans are about to get a whole lot more to scream about! Netflix has officially teamed up with toy titans Mattel and Hasbro to bring a plethora of consumer products based on the animated film to market.
The collaboration comes as no surprise, given the film’s astronomical success. Since its June debut on the streaming service, “KPop Demon Hunters” has racked up over 325 million views worldwide, making it Netflix’s most popular film ever. Its incredible popularity even prompted two theatrical releases – a special two-day event in August and another run around Halloween.
Now, fans can look forward to a full suite of merchandise, with Mattel and Hasbro dividing and conquering the toy landscape. Mattel will be handling dolls, action figures, accessories, and playsets, while Hasbro will focus on plush items, electronics, roleplay gear, and board games. While some product categories might see a bit of overlap, the goal is clear: give the fans what they want!
And the toy companies aren’t wasting any time. Mattel is already taking pre-orders for a three-pack of dolls featuring Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, the fierce members of the fictional KPop trio HUNTR/X. Meanwhile, Hasbro’s first offering is a “KPop Demon Hunters” themed Monopoly Deal game.
Get ready to clear some shelf space, because merchandise and toys from both companies are expected to hit retail shelves in spring 2026.
“Netflix, Mattel and Hasbro joining forces on this first-of-its-kind collaboration means fans can finally get their hands on the best dolls, games, and merchandise they’ve been not-so-subtly demanding on every social platform known to humanity,” stated Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, in a recent announcement.
It seems the “KPop Demon Hunters” phenomenon is just getting started, and soon, you’ll be able to bring a piece of the action home!
