As October winds down, it seems the acting bug has bitten another member of the Lopez family! Mario Lopez, a familiar face from his own child acting days, is celebrating his son Dominic, affectionately known as “Nico,” who is quickly building an impressive resume with two new acting roles before the year is out.
Lopez, ever the proud papa, took to Instagram to share the exciting news. He posted photos of Nico on the set of an upcoming horror film, captioning the post, “That’s a wrap! My boy just finished shooting a horror movie in NY.”
The Saved by the Bell alum continued, “home for a quick pit stop before heading back for a Christmas film. He’s going from boo!
To ho ho ho! Couldn’t be prouder of my little leading man…” The hashtags in the post strongly suggest the horror flick in question is The Revenge Of La Llorona.
One of the shared photos even showed young Dominic posing alongside film co-star Raymond Cruz.
While Lopez kept mum on the details of the upcoming Christmas film, it’s highly likely to be Mission Merry Christmas, a Great American Family production starring Trevor Donovan and Jillian Murray. Great American Family announced back in September that Donovan, Murray, and Dominic would all be featured in the movie, which is slated for a late December premiere.
