‘Fresh Prince’ Child Star Floyd Roger Myers Jr. Dies at 42

Floyd Roger Myers Jr., a former child actor best known for his appearance on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” has passed away at the age of 42. His mother, Renee Trice, confirmed to TMZ that Myers Jr. suffered a fatal heart attack at his Maryland home in the early hours of Wednesday, October 29. Trice also revealed that her son had experienced three heart attacks in the past three years, and she had spoken with him just the night before his passing.

Myers Jr.’s acting career began with a memorable role as a young Will Smith in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” He then went on to portray Marlon Jackson in the television miniseries “The Jacksons: An American Dream” and had a final acting credit in an episode of “Young Americans.”

While he seemingly stepped away from acting at a young age, Myers Jr. remained active online, sharing updates about his life. In his adult years, he became the owner of Dr.

Duct, a company specializing in air duct and dryer vent cleaning services. His Instagram bio also noted his role as co-founder of The Fellaship Mens Group.

Myers Jr. was also a devoted family man. In a heartwarming Instagram post on September 4, he wished his daughter a happy 10th birthday, writing, “Happy 10th birthday to my baby girl!!
