New York City, NY – It’s that time of year again! The leaves are changing, there’s a chill in the air, and supermodel Heidi Klum has once again unveiled her legendary Halloween costume. And let’s just say, she didn’t disappoint.
Since 2000, with a brief pause in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, Klum has hosted her annual star-studded Halloween bash in New York City, using the event as the grand stage for her increasingly elaborate and often jaw-dropping transformations. You won’t find these creations on a store shelf; Klum’s costumes are truly in a league of their own.
“I’d rather stay home than go out in an uninspired costume,” Klum, the former Project Runway host, famously told Parade in 2013, emphasizing that her costumes are “definitely not a last-minute decision.” And this year’s offering is a testament to that dedication.
Known for pushing the boundaries with unique and sometimes grotesque outfits, from a colossal earthworm to a glamorous E.T., Klum is no stranger to making a statement. This year, she embodied the fearsome Medusa, the Gorgon from Greek mythology whose gaze turns onlookers to stone, complete with a head of writhing snakes.
Klum debuted her Medusa masterpiece at her 24th Annual Halloween Party and quickly shared the look on Instagram, captioning her post, “HAPPY HEIDIWEEN ๐Donโt stare too long or youโll turn to stone ๐ค #HeidiHalloween.”
Fans, who eagerly await her annual reveal, flooded the comments section with their reactions. “Heidi never misses queen of Halloween fr ๐๐,” one fan exclaimed, while another playfully commented, “queen but, a trigger warning next time pls๐.”
A third fan mused, “I just wanna know why she always picks the ugliest/scariest Halloween costumes ever LMAO. She definitely owns Halloween but why is it always so ugly๐.”
Back in August, Klum gave a sneak peek into her plans, teasing an “extra ugly” and “super scary” costume during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She confirmed she was “hard at work already” and had begun planning the look “months ago,” proving that when it comes to Halloween, Heidi Klum means business.
