Reality Star Amy Slaton Marries Brian Lovvorn in Spooky Halloween Ceremony

Reality television personality Amy Slaton, known for her role on TLC’s “1000-lb Sisters,” exchanged vows with her new partner, Brian Lovvorn, in a Halloween-themed wedding on October 31. The couple’s nuptials took place at the historic Talbott Tavern in Kentucky, embracing a spooky aesthetic that seemingly continued from their engagement, which reportedly occurred in a haunted house after just five months of dating.

The wedding marks a new chapter for the 38-year-old star, two years after her divorce from Michael Halterman. The event also follows a period of legal challenges for Slaton, including a 2024 arrest in Tennessee alongside Lovvorn for drug possession and child endangerment. The couple later pleaded guilty to simple possession of marijuana and mushrooms, with the child endangerment charges dismissed.

While loved ones gathered for the ceremony, Amy’s sister, Tammy Slaton, was observed sitting on a bench, keeping her distance from the bridal party and photographs. Amy and Brian were seen posing with three bridesmaids and groomsmen, though reports indicate that other family members did not appear to fully participate in the celebration. This comes amidst ongoing concerns from both fans and family regarding Amy’s relationship with Brian.

Amy previously shared insights into her wedding planning process, telling PEOPLE that selecting bridesmaids and groomsmen presented a significant challenge. She ultimately chose her friend Ollisha Davis, affectionately known as “Lee Lee,” as her Maid of Honor, stating, “I intuitively knew that my extraordinary friend Ollisha [Davis] (Lee Lee) would graciously accept the esteemed honor of being my maid of honor, even before I extended the heartfelt invitation.”

The ceremony was officiated by Billy, a friend who also officiated Tammy Slaton’s 2022 wedding to Caleb Willingham.

Speaking about her new husband, Amy expressed her joy, remarking, “Getting married means that I’m no longer lonely because I’ve discovered my soulmate, Brian, is my happy place! Once you get to know him, you’ll find him to be the sweetest, most caring person you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing!” She also praised Brian for forming a strong bond with her two sons, Gage Deon, 4, and Glenn Allen, 3, from her previous marriage.
