Shake Shack Unleashes “The Big Shack” – A Not-So-Subtle Jab at the Competition

However, given Shake Shack’s reputation for quality, diners can expect fresh, never-frozen ingredients and a burger that lives up to its appetizing photo. Boasting a hefty 56 grams of protein, The Big Shack is a substantial meal.
Perhaps even more enticing than its size is its price point. At $9.99, The Big Shack is a dollar less than Shake Shack’s signature ShackBurger and significantly cheaper than many of their other menu items. While still a step above the typical $4-$6 price range of its fast-food rival, this strategic pricing suggests Shake Shack is aiming to offer a premium, yet more affordable, option to burger enthusiasts.
As an added bonus, Shake Shack is showing its appreciation for service members. On Veterans Day, November 11th, all active and retired military personnel can enjoy a complimentary Big Shack with a valid ID, while supplies last.
Early reviews are already rolling in, and the hype seems to be well-deserved. Steven Morea from Delish described The Big Shack as “Heavier, meatier, and more flavorful” than its competitor, praising its caramelized crust and the sharper, tangier secret sauce.
