Jack Osbourne Gets Emotional on Reality Show, Plus Jungle Antics and New Camp Leaders
Jack Osbourne, son of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, shared a poignant moment on the UK reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! The 40-year-old became visibly emotional after realizing four months had passed since his father’s death.
During a morning campfire chat on Sunday’s installment of the ITV jungle show, Osbourne found comfort from comedian Eddie Kadi and internet personality Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angryginge. “Yesterday was a bit of a delicate day for me,” Osbourne revealed.
“I was doing OK, and then I realized it was the four months since my dad died. Had a good cry with Eddie… but ultimately I’m happy, I’m really happy I’m here.”
Burtwistle offered a supportive, “Men cry too.”
The mood lightened when model Kelly Brook had a momentary lapse concerning her own birthday. “Oh my god, it’s my birthday tomorrow,” she exclaimed, only for Osbourne to clarify, “It’s the 23rd today.”
Brook admitted, “I honestly thought it was tomorrow. Jack even had to figure out when my birthday was, is there nothing this guy can’t do?
How am I going to navigate life without him.”
Angryginge’s “Terror-Flying Tours” Challenge
Later, Burtwistle prepared for his third jungle challenge, “Terror-Flying Tours.” Before the trial, seasoned comic Ruby Wax presented him with a rather unconventional good luck charm: her “lucky underpants.”
“I always wear red when I wanna, you know, pull off something,” she explained. A bewildered Angryginge questioned, “You want to give me your underwear?”
In the trial, Burtwistle had to plunge his head into a series of boxes, each representing a different “destination,” and free stars using only his mouth or tongue. He faced lizards, toads, and rats, successfully collecting two stars from the lizard box, two from the toad box, and three from the rat box.
His ultimate challenge came in the final box, which combined his greatest fear of spiders with crocodiles. He managed to claim two out of three stars there, finishing with an impressive total of 10 out of a possible 12 stars.
New Camp Leaders Appointed
In other camp news, the public voted for a new camp leader. Rapper Aitch won the vote and subsequently chose Angryginge as his deputy. This new leadership duo earned the perks of comfortable seats around the campfire, sleeping in the treehouse, and access to the treehouse dunny (toilet).
The pair then delegated tasks to their fellow contestants:
- Chefs: Jack Osbourne and former England Lionesses soccer player Alex Scott
- Dish Duty: Celebs Go Dating’s Tom Read Wilson and TV host Vogue Williams
- Water Chores: Soap opera star Shona McGarty and Kelly Brook
- Wood Gathering: Eddie Kadi and Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp
- Latrine Duties: Ruby Wax and Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley
