So, what has the talented cast been up to since they left the Barone family behind? Let’s catch up with some of our favorite stars!

Ray Romano (Ray Barone)

Ray Romano wasn’t just the titular character; he also flexed his writing muscles for all 210 episodes and later served as an executive producer. His efforts earned him Emmy Awards for both lead actor and producer.

After the show, Romano continued to make us laugh and occasionally cry. He co-created and starred in “Men of a Certain Age” (2009-2011) and had a memorable recurring role on the drama “Parenthood” (2012-2015).

He also lent his distinctive voice to Manny the mammoth in the “Ice Age” animated movie series. Proving his versatility, he garnered critical acclaim for his dramatic performances in films like “The Big Sick” and “Paddleton.”

More recently, he made his directorial debut with “Somewhere in Queens,” which he also co-wrote and starred in, and appeared in “No Good Deed” and “Fly Me to the Moon.”

Off-screen, Ray has been married to Anna Romano since 1987, and they have four children: Alexandra, 35; twins Matthew and Gregory, 32; and Joseph, 27.

Patricia Heaton (Debra Barone)

Patricia Heaton, who brilliantly portrayed Debra Barone, earned two Emmy Awards for her work on the show.

Following her time as Ray’s long-suffering wife, Heaton went on to star in another popular sitcom, “The Middle,” for 215 episodes from 2009 to 2018. During this period, she also hosted the food-travel show “Patricia Heaton Parties,” which snagged her both a Primetime and Daytime Emmy Award. Later, she starred in “Carol’s Second Act” and has recently focused on more faith-based content with roles in “The Unbreakable Boy” and “The Ritual.”

Patricia was married to Constantine Yankoglu from 1984 to 1987. She married David Hunt in 1990, and they are parents to four sons: Samuel, John, Joseph, and Daniel.

Peter Boyle (Frank Barone)

The late Peter Boyle received seven Emmy Award nominations for his iconic portrayal of the grumpy, yet lovable, Frank Barone.

Later in his career, he appeared in “Monster’s Ball” and an Emmy-winning guest role on “The X-Files.” After “Everybody Loves Raymond,” he reprised his role as Father Time in “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause.”

Peter married Loraine in 1977, and they had two children, Amy and Lucy. Sadly, Boyle passed away in December 2006 at the age of 71 after a long battle with heart disease.

Doris Roberts, whose career began in the 1950s, found her big break in the 1980s with “Remington Steele.” However, she is perhaps best known for her unforgettable role as the meddling but loving matriarch, Marie Barone, which earned her four Emmy Awards.

After “Everybody Loves Raymond,” Roberts continued to act, appearing in numerous TV shows, including “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Middle,” and “Desperate Housewives,” as well as several films like “Madea’s Witness Protection,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” and “Merry Kissmas.” Her final on-screen role was in “JOB’s Daughter.”

She later married William Goyen in 1963, remaining together until his death in 1983. Doris Roberts passed away in April 2016 at the age of 90 following a stroke.

Ray Romano fondly remembered her, telling Entertainment Tonight, “She never stopped. Whether working professionally or with her many charities, or just nurturing and mentoring a green young comic trying to make it as an actor, she did everything with such a grand love for life and people and I will miss her dearly.”

Monica Horan (Amy MacDougall Barone)

Monica Horan is best recognized for her role as Amy MacDougall, who evolved from Robert Barone’s longtime girlfriend into his wife.

Sullivan Sweeten portrayed Michael Barone on “Everybody Loves Raymond” and also stepped away from acting once the show concluded.
