New Allegations Link Sarah Ferguson to Jeffrey Epstein’s Apartments Years After Public Disavowal
Fresh claims have emerged suggesting that Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, may have continued to utilize apartments connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as late as 2014, despite publicly stating in 2011 that she had severed all ties with him. This new development comes on the heels of a recently leaked email, sent after her public declaration, in which she apologized to Epstein and referred to him as a “steadfast” friend – an email she asserts was sent under duress.
Andrew Lownie, author of a recent biography on Ferguson and her ex-husband Prince Andrew, alleges that multiple eyewitnesses observed the Duchess entering and exiting a New York City apartment complex “up until 2014.” Lownie previously indicated that Epstein and Ferguson remained close long after her public statement, and in a recent interview, he shared further details. He claims Sarah “regularly used Epstein’s flats as free accommodation while in New York on business or pleasure,” at times doing so “twice a month.”
The property in question is located at 301 East 66th Street, a short distance from Epstein’s former seven-story Manhattan residence. Epstein’s brother, Mark, owned the East 66th Street building and revealed to Lownie that several apartments within the structure were provided to Jeffrey at no cost. Lownie suspects one of these units served as Ferguson’s lodging.
Lownie maintains he has spoken with numerous witnesses who observed Ferguson at the residence, including Epstein’s neighbors, an associate of Ghislaine Maxwell, and the building’s doorman. Local resident Claudine Prabst is cited as one such witness, having reportedly seen Ferguson emerge from the building and subsequently discussed it with doormen. Lownie added that building staff reportedly donned their “full dress uniform” during Ferguson’s visits, indicating that Epstein “really put the boat out” for her.
These allegations surface amidst ongoing scrutiny following the Daily Mail’s leak of an email from Ferguson to Epstein earlier this year. In the correspondence, she described Epstein as “a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family,” and explicitly denied having called him a pedophile.
Her apologetic message stated: “I am apologising to you today for not replying to your email or reaching out to you. I was bedridden with fear.
I was paralysed.” She further explained she was advised to have no contact with him, fearing it would cause more problems for him, Prince Andrew, and herself.
Ferguson’s spokespeople have maintained that the email was dispatched “in the context of advice the duchess was given to try to assuage Epstein and his threats” to pursue legal action against her.
Both Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew have recently been instructed to vacate Royal Lodge and seek alternative housing, a decision reportedly linked to the ongoing scandal surrounding Andrew’s connections to Epstein and the fallout from the leaked email.
Representatives for Ms. Ferguson have been contacted for comment regarding these latest claims.
