Pamela Anderson Dishes on “Real” Romance with Liam Neeson, Shuts Down PR Stunt Rumors

Hollywood icon Pamela Anderson is pulling back the curtain on her brief but “real” romance with actor Liam Neeson, offering intimate details about their connection and firmly addressing whispers of a publicity stunt.

The 58-year-old “Baywatch” alumna recently shared insights into her post-filming relationship with her “Naked Gun” co-star. According to Anderson, their romantic involvement began after production wrapped on the film.

“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming [‘The Naked Gun’],” she revealed to People magazine.

Anderson recounted an “intimate week” spent at Neeson’s upstate New York home, during which the 73-year-old actor even introduced her as the “future Mrs. Neeson” during a night out.

While their paths diverged after that week, the two reconnected during the film’s press tour this past summer. Anderson described their bond as “a little bit like a Nancy Meyers film,” emphasizing its genuine nature.

“We were having fun,” Anderson stated. “I always was laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’

I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real.

We have real feelings.’”

Despite the romantic undertones, Anderson clarified their current dynamic. “I adore Liam, but we are better friends, in full honesty,” she added.

“He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me. I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives.”

The pair’s seemingly flirtatious exchanges and public displays of affection during “The Naked Gun” press tour, which commenced in July, fueled speculation that their connection was a calculated PR move to boost the film’s visibility.

Reports from TMZ in August suggested that the romantic narrative was orchestrated by Anderson and Neeson’s PR teams alongside Paramount Pictures. The outlet claimed the actors hadn’t seen each other since filming concluded in July 2024 until the press tour began, and that their “dates” were strictly business meetings with assistants present.

However, sources close to the stars have vehemently denied these allegations. “Everything between them has been genuine.

Neither would ever take part in a publicity stunt. They have a great time.

Neither of them needs the publicity,” one insider told People, slamming the claims as “ridiculous.” Another source affirmed, “Their relationship isn’t just for show.

They have a real connection. There’s no incentive for either of them to stage something like this.”

Anderson herself addressed the rumors directly in September during her acceptance speech at the 51st Deauville American Film Festival. “I do not and will never feed into PR stunts,” she stated, alluding to the reports.

“That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven.

I’m superstitious when it comes to love. And I’m not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.”

She concluded by emphasizing her commitment to authenticity in her career and personal life. “There are no silly games being played.

I’m sincere. Do not mistake my kindness for weakness or my boldness for bitterness.

I’m here on this journey, not for money or for fame, but to see what I’m made of in truth, hard work and to leave behind an honest legacy my family can be proud of.”
