Family Concerned for Ariana Grande’s Health Amid Weight Loss Speculation and Recent Incidents

Pop superstar Ariana Grande’s loved ones are reportedly expressing significant concern for her well-being, as questions surrounding her recent weight loss continue to surface. The 32-year-old singer’s appearance has drawn attention from fans during the promotional tour for “Wicked: For Good,” the second installment of the highly anticipated film franchise, which premiered last month to considerable box office success.

Grande previously addressed public commentary on her physique by reposting an interview clip where she condemned the “dangerous” societal trend of commenting on others’ looks and perceived health. However, these recent concerns are reportedly coming from within her inner circle.

According to a family source who spoke to the Daily Mail, the demanding press tour for “Wicked: For Good” took a considerable toll on Grande. “Ariana did not handle [the press tour] well at all.

It bothered her a lot – from the red carpet incident [in which a man tried to attack her] to what people were saying about her online,” the source stated. They added that Grande is “very thin-skinned,” and the comments regarding her weight were particularly distressing.

The “red carpet incident” referred to occurred at the premiere of “Wicked: For Good,” where a serial intruder, Johnson Wen, breached security and attempted to physically grab Grande. Her co-star, Cynthia Erivo, swiftly intervened, shielding Grande as security apprehended Wen. Wen, 26, subsequently received a nine-day jail sentence in Singapore for public nuisance.

Sources close to Grande have indicated that this incident reactivated her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a condition she has managed since the tragic 2017 Manchester concert attack that claimed 22 lives.

“She is struggling right now. She’s not in a healthy place and she knows it.

Everyone around her knows it. Her anxiety is through the roof.

She over-exerted herself and the cracks started to show pretty quickly,” the family source revealed to the Daily Mail this week.

The insider, believed to be based in Florida, emphasized the importance of Grande’s support system. “Fortunately she’s got a support system. Everyone is encouraging her to take care of her own mental health – because she needs to.”

During the demanding promotional period, Grande has reportedly leaned heavily on her “Wicked” co-star, Cynthia Erivo, who is said to maintain frequent contact, checking in with Grande multiple times a day.

“Wicked: For Good,” which also features “Bridgerton” star Jonathan Bailey, has been a commercial success, reportedly grossing approximately $112.5 million (£84 million) worldwide during its opening weekend.
