South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem’s Appearance Sparks Speculation, Expert Weighs In
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem’s recent appearance on Fox’s Jesse Watters Primetime left many viewers speculating about a notable change in her look. Social media quickly buzzed with comparisons to older photos, prompting discussions about potential cosmetic enhancements.
To shed light on the matter, the Irish Star sought the professional opinion of plastic surgeon Dr. Fadi Hamadani.
Dr. Hamadani observed significant alterations in Noem’s recent images, noting “changes across several areas, from smoother expression lines to more refined facial contours and noticeably firmer skin.”
He elaborated that such an “overall result is usually achieved through a layered approach,” typically involving Botox to soften lines, dermal fillers to enhance features like cheeks, lips, and jawline, and skin-tightening technologies for improved definition.
Dr. Hamadani specifically pointed to “advanced radiofrequency microneedling treatments” such as Morpheus8 Burst as a likely contributor to the appearance of Noem’s lower face. He explained that these technologies stimulate collagen remodeling and tighten tissue in areas like the chin and jawline.
These cosmetic procedures come with a considerable price tag. Dr.
Hamadani estimated that Botox sessions range from $300 to $800, while dermal fillers typically cost between $500 and $1,200 per treatment. Energy-based skin-tightening treatments, he added, could range from $700 to $4,000 per session.
Collectively, the initial cost for such a suite of procedures could fall between $1,500 and over $6,000, not accounting for multiple sessions.
Governor Noem has previously been associated with the “Mar-a-Lago face” phenomenon, a trend among some conservative Republican women characterized by a combination of Botox, fillers, and other enhancements designed to achieve a refined, youthful appearance.
Despite widespread public and media speculation regarding her changing looks, Governor Noem has not publicly confirmed undergoing any plastic surgery procedures.
Dr. Hamadani concluded his analysis by stating, “For high-profile women, this kind of curated upkeep has become part of a modern image strategy. What we’re seeing isn’t just cosmetic change, it’s the face of a new beauty culture, where subtlety, longevity and natural movement matter more than ever.”
