New Hosts Take Over Popular CBS Saturday Morning Show

CBS News has officially announced Adriana Diaz and Kelly O’Grady as the new co-hosts for “CBS Saturday Morning.” The duo is set to kick off their new roles this week, a move that follows the departure of previous long-time co-hosts Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson last October amidst company-wide staff reductions.

These changes to the weekend program were reportedly in motion even before Bari Weiss took the helm as editor-in-chief of CBS News earlier that month. Weiss has recently drawn criticism for her decision to pull a “60 Minutes” story on the Trump administration’s handling of Venezuelan migrants. The network’s revamp of “CBS Evening News,” featuring new anchor Tony Dokoupil, has also received mixed reviews.

In addition to their “CBS Saturday Morning” duties, Diaz and O’Grady will also take turns co-hosting “CBS Mornings 24/7” on the CBS News streaming platform, working alongside Vladimir Duthiers.

Diaz, 42, is a CBS News veteran, having joined in 2012. Her tenure includes reporting from China and Chicago, and she previously anchored “CBS Mornings Plus” and “CBS Weekend News.” She is a frequent substitute for “CBS Mornings” co-host Gayle King and is reportedly seen internally as a potential successor to King, whose contract with CBS News is in its final year.

O’Grady, 34, joined CBS more recently in 2024 as a correspondent for the MoneyWatch unit, covering the economy. Prior to CBS, she was a correspondent and fill-in anchor at Fox Business. She will continue to report on business, technology, and the economy for the network in addition to her new co-host responsibilities.
