Minnesota Woman Claims ICE Agents Made Death Threats

Minneapolis, MN – A disturbing video circulating online has ignited outrage after a woman claimed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent threatened to “put a bullet” through a child’s head if they didn’t “shut up.”

The clip, which allegedly originated in Minnesota, shows a group of individuals confronting ICE agents, accusing them of making violent threats, including against a child. While figures are obscured by heart emojis, a young girl can be seen in tears at the end of the video, reportedly wailing, “he said he’d put a bullet through my head.” The video was shared by X influencer and writer Ed Krassenstein, quickly garnering thousands of retweets.

This incident comes amidst heightened concerns regarding aggressive crowd-control tactics employed by federal immigration agents deployed in Minneapolis. Reports indicate that these agents have pointed rifles at demonstrators, deployed chemical irritants early in confrontations, broken vehicle windows, pulled occupants from cars, and physically scuffled with protestors. These tactics have become a dominant concern following the shooting death of Renee Nicole Good.

The increased ICE presence in Minneapolis has also brought other unsettling incidents to light. In one instance, four ICE agents reportedly had lunch at El Tapatio, a family-owned Mexican restaurant in Willmar, Minnesota, only to return hours later and arrest three staff members.

A witness, who requested anonymity, told the Minnesota Star Tribune that restaurant staff were “frightened” by the encounter, providing photos and video. Details regarding the immigration status of those detained, and whether they included the restaurant’s owners, remain unconfirmed.

In a separate incident, a Minneapolis woman, Alisa Porter, claims her apartment was mistakenly raided and damaged by federal agents executing a search warrant at the wrong address. Porter stated she left her apartment in the afternoon and later received a call from a neighbor informing her that her house had been raided and her daughter arrested. Ring doorbell footage reportedly shows law enforcement personnel with long rifles breaking into the apartment building, examining Porter’s unit, and then tearing down the camera.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they were executing several search warrants on Wednesday night as part of a criminal investigation into a pistol stolen from a federal truck. The operation involved the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and other agencies.

Federal investigators announced Thursday night that a suspect in the case had been apprehended, and the inquiry is ongoing. However, Porter maintains that agents targeted the incorrect residence.

The Department of Homeland Security has yet to respond to requests for comment regarding the viral video.
