Momoa’s “Lobo” Reveal Ignites Buzz for Upcoming “Supergirl” Film
Hollywood heavyweight Jason Momoa is officially stepping into the boots of the intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo, as confirmed by a recent video shared by “Supergirl” producer James Gunn. The clip, which quickly went viral, shows Momoa emerging from a trailer emblazoned with a “Lobo” sign, cigar in hand, before hopping into a sleek sports car.
When an off-screen voice queried the “Aquaman” and “Game of Thrones” star about his new role, Momoa boomed, “Finally!” The brief exchange then transitioned into action-packed footage of him as Lobo, tearing across the screen on a motorcycle in the highly anticipated “Supergirl” movie.
The film, slated to hit theaters on June 26, will feature “House of the Dragon” actress Milly Alcock in the titular role of Supergirl. Gunn also released a separate teaser for the film, highlighting its theatrical and IMAX release.
