Steve Harvey Gets Real About Annoying Husband Habits on “Family Feud”

It seems even the best husbands have their moments that drive their wives up the wall, and “Family Feud” host Steve Harvey can certainly relate! A recent episode saw Harvey commiserating with contestants over the common grievances that lead to a wife’s exasperated shout.

The popular game show, known for its often hilarious and sometimes eyebrow-raising survey questions, hit a particularly resonant chord for Harvey during a showdown between the Rosado and Aigbe families. When the question appeared on his cards, “We asked 100 married men, Tell me the reason your wife last yelled at you,” the host knew he was in for a relatable ride.

The face-off began with Ralph from the Rosado family and George from the Aigbe family stepping up to the podium. George was quick on the buzzer, offering “Didn’t take out the trash,” which landed a solid second spot on the board. Ralph’s guess of “Didn’t make the bed” wasn’t so lucky, giving the Aigbe family the chance to play the round.

The Aigbe family, led by matriarch Helen, started strong with “Didn’t do the dishes,” adding more points to their tally. But it was Stacy’s answer that truly struck a chord with Harvey.

When she confidently stated, “Didn’t put the toilet seat down,” Harvey’s reaction was priceless. The host visibly winced, closing his eyes and taking a few steps back, clearly reliving his own marital “pain.”

“God!” he exclaimed with a deep sigh, a sentiment many husbands (and wives!)

could understand. The answer, much to Harvey’s relatable chagrin, was indeed on the board.

The round continued with Akeem’s guess of “Forgot our anniversary,” which unfortunately resulted in the family’s first strike. Kevin’s “Watching too much TV” also missed the mark.

But George came to the rescue with “Not helping with the kids,” earning valuable points. Helen, seemingly a seasoned pro in the art of marital “guidance,” added “Didn’t pay the bills,” keeping the momentum going.

Stacy continued the streak with “Wasn’t paying attention while I was talking,” an answer that even Harvey had to concede was a common complaint. The pressure was on Akeem to bring the family closer to victory, but his final guess, “Forgot to get her a Valentine’s Day gift,” sealed their third and final strike, opening the door for the Rosado family to attempt a steal.

After a quick huddle, the Rosado family’s leader, Ralph, offered their one chance at glory: “For leaving the lights on.” However, the answer wasn’t on the board, securing the round and all its points for the Aigbe family.

It seems that when it comes to the little things that irk our partners, Steve Harvey is just like the rest of us, proving that even a seasoned host can find himself in the hot seat when it comes to common marital quibbles.
