Steve Harvey Nearly Topples Over After “Family Feud” Contestant’s Jaw-Dropping Anniversary Dinner Budget

Family Feud host Steve Harvey, a man who knows a thing or two about celebrating love (and probably lavish dinners), found himself in a precarious position recently, almost losing his footing after a contestant delivered an answer so wild, it practically redefined “frugal.”

The moment of hilarity unfolded during the Fast Money round when KC, a member of the victorious Williams family, was asked to name the most he’d spend on an anniversary dinner. His response?

A mere $75. The number sent shockwaves through the studio, leaving his wife aghast and even the seasoned Harvey struggling to comprehend how someone married for so long could propose such a modest sum.

As the Williams family vied for the $20,000 grand prize, KC and Allen were nominated for the Fast Money round. With 20 seconds ticking away, Harvey posed the now infamous question: “What’s the most you’d spend on an anniversary dinner?”

KC’s swift and unwavering “Seventy-five dollars!” nearly sent Harvey sprawling, but the host, ever the professional, managed to regain his balance and continue the round.

Later, as the scores were revealed, the room erupted in laughter once more when KC’s $75 answer was revisited. “Big shot, KC said $75!”

Harvey quipped, barely containing his mirth. When asked if he was even married, KC pointed to his wife, eliciting another wave of chuckles.

Unsurprisingly, the answer garnered zero points. “See ’cause everybody that spent $75 on their anniversary dinner is divorced,” Harvey joked.

But KC, undeterred, shot back, “The $75 is ours, I am not gonna eat at all!”

Unfortunately, KC’s other answers didn’t fare much better, leaving him with a meager 57 points. The pressure then fell on his partner, Allen, who needed to rack up a hefty 143 points to secure the win. Harvey encouraged Allen, reminding him of the monumental task ahead and the need for fresh answers.

Allen took to the stage, and his first answer to the anniversary dinner question – a much more reasonable $200 – immediately instilled a glimmer of hope. He continued to answer the remaining questions within the allotted time.

As the scores were tallied, Harvey couldn’t resist one final jab at KC’s initial answer. “Ha ha!

Yeah. That’s what he started with.

He turned around and said, ‘$75?'” Harvey joked, once again sending the audience into hysterics.

Even Allen seemed bewildered by KC’s frugality, asking, “That bad?” Harvey reassured him with a playful nod to KC’s earlier declaration: “It was okay because he wasn’t going to eat at all.”

Ultimately, despite Allen’s best efforts, the duo fell just short of the target, accumulating 135 points – a mere 8 points shy of the $20,000 prize. While the money slipped through their fingers, the Williams family certainly left a lasting impression, particularly with KC’s unforgettable $75 anniversary dinner budget.
