K-Pop sensation BTS has officially ended its four-year hiatus with the release of their fifth album, “Arirang,” which dropped Friday.
The highly anticipated album is accompanied by a new music video for their single “Swim,” featuring actress Lili Reinhart. The video is already a massive hit, racking up over 19 million views on YouTube.
Hybe Corp., the parent company of BTS’s management, stated that “‘ARIRANG’ is an album that embodies the origin and identity of BTS and carries the message that they want to convey now.” The group’s break allowed members to fulfill mandatory military service in South Korea.
Fans can look forward to BTS’s first live performance in years, a free concert scheduled for Saturday in Seoul, South Korea. The event is expected to draw thousands and will also be livestreamed globally on Netflix.
Following the concert, BTS will embark on an extensive 82-date “Arirang” world tour, commencing April 9 and continuing through March 2027.
