Summer House Stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson Finally Confirm Romance

Amanda Batula and West Wilson, stars of Bravo’s reality hit Summer House, have officially confirmed their romantic relationship after months of speculation. The pair addressed rumors directly on Instagram, explaining they needed time to process their feelings privately amid the intense scrutiny of reality TV life.

“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” they shared. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed some space before speaking on it. We’ve been there for each other as friends through many ups and downs, and what developed recently caught us by surprise.”

The show, which debuted in 2017 and follows a group of friends’ summer adventures in the Hamptons, has often featured intertwined romances and drama. Wilson previously dated fellow cast member Ciara Miller, who is a close friend of Batula.

Meanwhile, Batula was married to co-star Kyle Cooke; the two announced their amicable split earlier this year after marrying in 2021. Their relationship struggles, including Cooke’s infidelity in 2019, were documented on the show.

Batula and Wilson emphasized the deep friendship behind their new romance. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, so it was important for us to approach this with care. We recognize this affects more than just us and never intended to cause hurt or appear careless,” they wrote.

Wilson had previously downplayed their relationship on Watch What Happens Live, calling Batula his “home girl” and expressing affection without confirming romance. Cooke, when asked about the rumors in March, called them “outrageous” but expressed support for Batula’s happiness.

As the couple steps into this new chapter, their fans and Summer House viewers now have clarity on the evolving dynamics among the close-knit cast.
