A British content creator recently put one of the world’s most expensive McDonald’s locations to the test, sharing her experience and the surprisingly steep bill that came with it.

McDonald’s is typically known for its budget-friendly menu-offering burgers, nuggets, fries, and the ever-popular McFlurry to millions worldwide. However, prices can vary dramatically, especially in some countries. Eloise Fouladgar, sharing her visit on TikTok, revealed how a meal in Switzerland, often cited as home to one of the priciest McDonald’s outlets, added up to a staggering £65 ($87.39) for a single diner.

Starting with pepper wedges paired with a cocktail dip, Eloise was initially skeptical of the “fishy” scent but quickly changed her mind after tasting them, rating them an impressive eight out of ten. Next, she tried a nine-piece chicken nugget pack priced at £10, but found them soggy and underwhelming, giving them a three.

Her sweet selections fared better. A Nutella-filled doughnut earned a glowing nine, described as “one of the best things I’ve ever tried.” She also sampled McPops-mini filled doughnuts in forest berry jam, apple cinnamon, and chocolate hazelnut flavors-with the forest berry jam variety receiving a modest four out of ten.

Eloise was intrigued to find a chocolate pie on the Swiss menu, distinct from the classic apple pie, and rated it a solid seven, likening it to hot fudge pudding. Her beverage choices included a coffee milkshake, which she called “sensational” and awarded a perfect ten.

Rounding out her meal was a generous Lotus McFlurry, which she noted was far more lavishly topped than its UK counterpart, earning a nine out of ten.

Despite some hits and misses, Eloise’s verdict on whether the pricey meal was worth it? “Probably.” Her video offers a fascinating glimpse into how McDonald’s pricing and offerings can differ dramatically around the globe.
