Rudy Giuliani Leaves ICU but Stays in Hospital to Recover

Additional Coverage:

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has been moved out of the ICU but will continue to stay in the hospital for an extended period as he recovers from pneumonia, according to a statement from his spokesperson on Wednesday.

Ted Goodman, speaking on behalf of Giuliani, expressed gratitude for the widespread support, saying, “The mayor and his family appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers sent his way.”

Earlier this week, Goodman had reported that the 81-year-old Giuliani was admitted in critical but stable condition.

On Friday, Giuliani appeared on his X show, “America’s Mayor Live,” where he mentioned that his voice was “a little under the weather” and noted he wouldn’t be able to speak as loudly as usual. During the broadcast, he was seen coughing occasionally.
