Savannah Guthrie Honors Missing Mother Nancy on Mother’s Day with Heartfelt Tribute

On Mother’s Day, Savannah Guthrie paid an emotional tribute to her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing since February 1. The Today Show co-anchor shared a touching montage on Instagram featuring previously unseen footage of her 84-year-old mother, accompanied by a heartfelt message expressing the family’s ongoing pain and determination.

In her caption, Savannah wrote, “Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you.

We will never be at peace until we find you.” She appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone with information to call the FBI’s hotline anonymously and highlighting that a reward remains available.

Her message concluded with a plea to “Please keep praying. Bring her home,” along with a yellow heart emoji.

The montage was set to the song “May You Find A Light” by The Brilliance, whose lyrics about a “lost and weary traveller” resonated deeply with the family’s anguish.

Savannah’s husband, Michael Feldman, also shared a poignant Mother’s Day post, offering comfort to his wife with a photo of her embracing their children and calling her “the strongest person I know,” accompanied by heart emojis.

It has now been more than three months since Nancy disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona home under mysterious circumstances. Savannah has spoken openly about the devastating uncertainty and guilt she feels, including a heartbreaking admission during an interview with co-host Hoda Kotb. She revealed that her brother, a military intelligence expert, believed Nancy’s disappearance was a kidnapping for ransom and suggested it might be connected to Savannah herself, a notion she finds unbearable yet difficult to dismiss.

Describing the scene at her mother’s home, Savannah recounted unsettling details: doors left propped open, blood on the front doorstep, and a tampered Ring camera. Despite initial theories that Nancy may have suffered a medical emergency and been taken by paramedics, her phone, purse, and personal belongings remained inside, indicating an abduction likely took place while she was vulnerable-still in her pajamas, without shoes or medication.

The investigation has yet to yield significant leads or identify suspects, though images of a masked individual interfering with the home’s security system have been released. Savannah expressed profound distress over the ordeal, saying, “It is unbearable…

I imagine her terror every night.” She also reflected on her faith, acknowledging a sense that her mother is “with God,” even as the family desperately hopes for her safe return.

As the search continues, Savannah and her family remain resolute in their call for justice and answers, holding on to hope amid the ongoing anguish.
