UFC president Dana White is encouraging fans to visit Washington, D.C. for the upcoming UFC Freedom 250 event, even though general ticket sales won’t be available.

The event is set to take place on the South Lawn of the White House, but attendance inside will be limited to special guests and military personnel only. White confirmed that approximately 4,300 spectators will be on-site, most of whom will be members of the U.S. military. For those unable to attend in person, the UFC is offering 85,000 free tickets for fans to watch the fights from nearby Ellipse Park.

White invited UFC enthusiasts, especially those who haven’t yet explored the nation’s capital, to register for these complimentary tickets and take part in the festivities planned throughout the week of the fight. “Washington, D.C. is a fantastic city, and this is a perfect opportunity for UFC fans to experience it,” he said.

With the event just weeks away, White also addressed weather concerns, noting that organizers have contingency plans in place in case of lightning or other adverse conditions. He explained that the fight schedule could shift by a couple of hours earlier or later on the day of the event to accommodate any weather issues.

This unique outdoor event will showcase an exciting fight card, including:

  • Lightweight Championship: Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje
  • Interim UFC Heavyweight Championship: Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane
  • Bantamweight Bout: Sean O’Malley vs. Aiemann Zhabi
  • Heavyweight Bout: Josh Hokit vs. Derrick Lewis
  • Lightweight Bout: Mauricio Ruffy vs. Michael Chandler
  • Middleweight Bout: Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukaus
  • Featherweight Bout: Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia

In the lead-up to the event, President Donald Trump met with four fighters scheduled to compete, underscoring the historic nature of hosting UFC fights at the White House. With the combination of high-profile matchups and a one-of-a-kind setting, UFC Freedom 250 promises to be a memorable occasion for both fighters and fans alike.
