Sollos Yerba Mate Launches, Backed by Barron Trump and Partners
Sollos Yerba Mate, a new beverage brand co-founded by Barron Trump, youngest son of former President Donald Trump, has officially hit the market. Established earlier this year in Florida and Delaware alongside business partners Spencer Bernstein, Rudolfo Castello, Stephen Hall, and Valentino Gomez, Sollos aims to carve out a niche in the growing yerba mate market-a caffeinated herbal drink popular in both South America and the U.S. as a coffee alternative.
Barron Trump’s foray into entrepreneurship echoes his father’s business ventures. Notably, President Trump has introduced over 600 products through the Trump Store since beginning his second term, generating nearly $9 million in revenue in 2024 alone.
Currently, Sollos offers a single flavor: Pineapple + Coconut. According to a company spokesperson, the brand chose to perfect one recipe rather than launching multiple flavors at once.
A 12-pack retails for $39, or about $3.25 per can, with a 10% discount on orders of two or more packs. The drink boasts 120 mg of natural caffeine, organic raw honey, antioxidants, 5 grams of added sugar, and 50 calories per serving.
Beyond beverages, Sollos also sells branded apparel and accessories, including sweatshirts ($95), shorts ($40), beach bags ($80), and hats ($30).
The company’s founders cite their upbringing in South Florida as a major influence, emphasizing an active outdoor lifestyle. Sollos operates out of a 4,500-square-foot facility in Palm Beach, just a mile from the Trump family’s Mar-a-Lago club. The brand name derives from the Spanish word “sol,” meaning sun, symbolizing the cycle of the sun and the idea of renewal.
With wellness drinks gaining traction, particularly among younger consumers reducing alcohol consumption, Sollos enters a market projected to surpass $144 billion by 2034. The company’s focus on a single, carefully crafted flavor positions it uniquely within this expanding industry.
