Las Vegas police seek public’s help when reporting E-bike disturbances

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police in Las Vegas are asking the public to learn how to properly report e-bike violations in their communities.

Las Vegas Metro police’s Enterprise Area Command Sergeant Brent Garcia said 911 and 311 calls to dispatch for e-bike issues can sometimes be too vague for police to properly respond.

“I’ll get a phone call, or it’ll come through the internet, and it’ll say, ‘There were e-bikes driving south on Buffalo, and they were driving recklessly,’ and that’s it,” Garcia said. “I don’t have a time, I don’t have a description, I don’t have a number. And there’s very little for me to follow up on.”…
