LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A half-empty school bus on a Las Vegas freeway, a duplicated software subscription, and a rickety air-conditioning unit.
The Clark County School District report showed several potential ways to save $79 million in the next five years.
CCSD recognized by national accreditation organization
The CCSD Board of Trustees reviewed a report on Wednesday conducted by Gibson Consulting Group about operational efficiencies, which could save the school district tens of millions of dollars a year.
“We’re really proud of the efficiency study, and it was educational as well as operational,” CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebert said. “12 recommendations came out of the study.”
