LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two people were airlifted off an island in Lake Mohave after both their personal watercraft broke down on Saturday, according to Metro’s Search and Rescue team.
Metro’s AIR1 helicopter responded at about 11 p.m. after ground searches failed to find the pair, who had departed from Telephone Cove on the Nevada side of the Colorado River, north of Laughlin.
