Suspect arrested after man shot, killed during argument at Las Vegas park

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police arrested a suspect after a man was shot and killed during an argument at an east Las Vegas valley park last week.

Around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Metro police responded to a report of gunfire in the 4900 block of Lana Drive, near East Harmon Avenue and South Nellis Boulevard.

Police then received another 911 call reporting that someone had been shot, LVMPD Lt. Robert Price said during a press conference Thursday.

When officers arrived, they found a man inside Maslow Park suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead…
