Cuban man pleads guilty to assaulting TSA agents at Las Vegas airport

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Cuban man pleaded guilty Tuesday to attempting to access a passenger boarding area with a fake boarding pass and assaulting officers at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

Jhon Raul Vizcaino Ramirez admitted to presenting a boarding pass in the name of another person to a Transportation Security Administration screening officer and attempting to enter the boarding area on Nov. 3, 2025, according to a release from the Department of Justice.

Documents obtained by the 8 News Now Investigators in December showed that Ramirez was wearing a bandana covering half his face and presented the TSA officer with a boarding pass to Rochester, New York, with a woman’s name.

Documents said after he refused to provide his ID, Ramirez “struck [the officer] on the right side of his head and took [the officer’s] glasses off his face.”…
