LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A pedestrian was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Saturday night in the east Las Vegas valley.
Just before 9:15 p.m., Metro police responded to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian on East Flamingo Road, east of South Topaz Street.

Evidence at the scene and witness statements showed that a pedestrian was crossing Flamingo Road outside of a marked crosswalk when a Lexus ES350 was driving westbound on Flamingo. The crash occurred when the pedestrian entered the path of the Lexus and was hit, throwing him into the road, according to police.
