‘The system did their job’: Jury convicts Las Vegas man for deadly crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Clark County jury found a Las Vegas man guilty of killing a 17-year-old teenager two years ago while drag racing.

Jesus Barraza, who was 18 years old at the time of his arrest, was found guilty on Friday of reckless driving resulting in death.

“The system did their job. We got that guilty verdict, and I feel like my son can finally rest in peace,” Raymond Heath told 8 News Now on Sunday. “It’s been two years and three months since I lost my son.”
