City of Henderson approves $638K settlement over home destroyed in 2024 police standoff

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — City of Henderson officials have reached a settlement with a local resident after his home was heavily damaged during a multi-day SWAT standoff with an armed suspect in April 2024.

On Tuesday, the Henderson City Council approved a $638,476.83 agreement with homeowner Aaron Baca, who filed a lawsuit against the city nearly two years after the incident.
