LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Surveillance video 8 News Now obtained from the Clark County District Court appears to show the moments police allege a 22-year-old man fired several rounds into a vehicle, killing a woman and a toddler.
Appearing in Clark County District Court last week, Ziarie Ham pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder with a deadly weapon and nine counts of discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure or vehicle. Ham is accused of killing a 1-year-old girl.

On March 2, around 9 p.m., in the 1100 block of Victoria Medici Street, near Starr Avenue and Dean Martin Drive, Las Vegas Metro officers were conducting an unrelated traffic stop when they heard several gunshots in the area, according to Metro police.

One of the surveillance videos shows a black Mazda SUV that Clark County prosecutors say Ham was driving. Ham reportedly then walks up to a blue Hyundai Accent and fires his gun. The video shows a muzzle flash. Ham then runs off, according to police.

According to Clark County prosecutors, officers heard the nine rounds Ham fired from his weapon. The event was also captured on the officer’s body cam.
